Pausing at Myrtle Beach, Day 6

The Day Six Pause was a welcomed relief from the road. The mad dash to leave Connecticut “according to schedule” left Corinne and I mentally and physically depleted. We were very grateful for a sunny day, parking Blue Steele at the RV Park in Myrtle Beach. Great Egrets and Snowy Egrets fished in the surf, oblivious to our presence. I finally used my new Sigma 150 – 600 mm lens and got familiar with it in a hurry as the action was non-stop!

There is a huge advantage of proximity in RV life for the photographer. You get closer and have more time to spend with the subject. A natural patience grows and provides better results, instilling confidence in your approach. You quickly become your own favorite client.
